Dear Meg, Billie, Mary, and Family,
I was so sorry to open the newspaper and see that Bill had passed away. He certainly fought the good fight several times over but that cancer is just relentless. :-( My heartfelt sympathy goes out to ALL of you during this time of great sadness.
I always found it very easy to talk to Bill- he was quick with a laugh and always had a great smile. He often times looked like he was up to something with his devilish grin...I loved it! :-) And I am so grateful that I knew him for all these years.
I hope all of your great memories of Bill bring you comfort. I think it is so sweet that Spook brought him so much peace and was such a faithful companion to him. I'm sure Spook was a great listener and a gentle friend, staying at Bill's side, trying to make him feel better. What a wonderful place he had in Bill's heart.
With deepest sympathies,
Michele Grugan-Cellitti and Family
