Elizabeth Beaver

Mrs. Elizabeth Ingram Beaver, 80, of China Grove, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at Avante Nursing Home. Born on June 11, 1935, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Council and Frances Hampton Ingram. Educated in the Rowan County schools, she was a charter member of Genesis Baptist Church. Mrs. Beaver retired from Cone Mills as an inspector. Mrs. Beaver and her husband enjoyed camping and gospel music. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband for over 63 years, Wayne Estes Beaver. Also surviving her are her children, Larry Beaver (Joyce), Pamela Winecoff (Gary) and Deborah Brown (Lance), all of China Grove; brother Wayne Ingram of Georgia; sisters Mary Ann Carter of Maine and Nancy Fisher of Kannapolis. Mrs. Beaver is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements: Visitation is Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Genesis Baptist Church with funeral at 12 p.m., also at the church with Rev. Gene Edwards, minister.
