WILLIAM BASA Obituary
Age 94, of Ross Twp., peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 24, 2016. Beloved husband of 60 years to Rita (Benec) Basa; father of Marian Basa, Gerri Basa and Bill (Ginger) Basa; grandfather of Andrew and Kia Scibetta (fiancé Sean Wirth), Lucy, Caleb, John and Cricket Basa; great-grandfather of Sawyer and Fallon Wirth; brother of Rose Quering, Mary Jane Glabicki. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Christina; and older siblings, Frank R. Basa and Christine Basa. Friends received at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th St., Lawrenceville, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass in St. Sebastian Church on Friday at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the PA Association for the Blind or Western PA School for Blind Children.
