Mr. William “Bill” Roy Hudson, 76, of Panama City, FL, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Bill was born in Jackson County, FL on August 23, 1945. He was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a disability examiner for the State of Florida. Bill was Methodist by faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Inez Hudson, and brother, Charles Hudson.
He is survived by one daughter, Tara Hudson Taylor and husband Chris of Panama City, FL; one sister, Alice Pendergrass of Marianna, FL; sister-in-law, Luree Hudson of Marianna, FL; three grandchildren, Rosslynn Roberts, Wyatt Taylor and Cathleen Taylor; nieces and nephews, Chuck Hudson and wife Tamara, Anna Hudson, Olivia Weber, Ivy Bell and husband Stacy.
The family would like to extend a special and gracious thank you to Pop’s last friend, Mr. Smalls.
Funeral services will be held graveside at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Lovedale Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Ashbrook officiating.
