We were very sorry to learn of Bill's passing. Our sincere condolences to Norma and the Spence family.
If it wasn't for Bill installing a skylight on the 3rd floor of Norma's house where I was renting on Dunbar Street, I never would have met my husband. I have Bill to thank for introducing me to Theo 38 years ago.
Over the years, Theo has shared a lot of fond memories and good stories of hanging out with Bill at his house as a teenager and spending many summers up north with Bill and all their friends. He was such a great guy and he will be missed.

Bill and I were very good friends as young men. We both dreamed about sailing in the Americas Cup and sailed regularly out of Ontario Place on my fathers boat. We didn't get to realize this dream for much the same reason.
I lost track of Bill in life and I regret that. I will always remember his kindness and gentle spirit.
With Love and respect.

We were so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was much loved by his family and friends, a gentle and kind-hearted soul. We felt for him as he had many struggles with his health over recent years but he didn't complain. We remember how much he enjoyed music and antique hunting. We will miss him.

A cool, kind cousin to me and Nicole. I loved having him around to lift us up and when he was older to find out about his big world I had no idea about. He was always open and honest and treated me as an adult in my teens. He was always up for an adventure and I loved hearing about them! He was gentle and thoughtful. Rest now. I loved having you in my life. Xox Love to you all who supported him and loved him. Love Kara

Every Friday afternoon after school we would head up to Dunbar, sit in the front room, crank up the stereo and listen to Pink Floyd .
