William Black Obituary
October 16, 1969 - August 8, 2022
Columbia, South Carolina - William Everett Black of Columbia, SC, passed away on August 8, 2022. He was 52. Everett was raised in Concord, North Carolina. He had a long career in jewelry sales management. During a retail jewelry event at a bridal show in Richmond, VA, Everett met Lisa Galbreath Neaton, whom he married in 2002. In 2003 they welcomed their first son, William McKinney Black (19), and in 2006, they completed their family with the arrival of Matthew Barkdoll Black (16). Everett enjoyed spending time with his family and took great pride in watching his children participate in their extracurricular activities.
In addition to Lisa, William, and Matthew, Everett is survived by his parents, William Terry Black and Pamela M. Black of Concord, NC. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Michael Black.
A memorial service will be held at St. Martin's in the Fields Episcopal Church, 5220 Clemson Ave, Columbia, SC 29206, on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00 am. A light reception will follow immediately afterward, where the family will welcome friends and relatives.

I worked with Everett for a few years when he was with Friedman's jewelry. Great guy. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. God speed!
