William Blacker Obituary
York - William J. "Bill" Blacker, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born April 16, 1929 in Boston, MA.
He was predeceased by his wife Terry of 65 years in 2017.
He leaves 4 daughters; Diane Cluff (and husband, Victor) of Derry, NH, Karen Khan (and partner, Ronald Malouin) of York, ME, Catherine Koscielniak (and husband, James) of Hudson, NH and Barbara DeSouza (and husband Joseph) of Palm Coast, FL. He had 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. He was very proud of his legacy of 5 generations in his family. He is also survived by his sister, Kathleen (Tootie)Thompson of Manchester, NH, and brothers Robert (and wife, Joanne) Blacker of Haverhill, MA, and Donald Blacker of Kittery, ME. He was predeceased by his sisters, Margaret (Peggy) and Barbara, brothers Richard, John, Walter and Paul. He also has many nieces and nephews.
Bill drove for St. Johnsbury Trucking for 40 years until his retirement, then kept himself busy always building things or playing cards and cribbage.
Due to COVID, the family has requested no viewing. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
A funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11am on Monday, May 17, 2021, in St. Christopher Church, York, ME, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham, MA.

Just heard about Bill passing today, and he was a great guy and always happy and smiling.
Paul and I had many good card games in Maine and in Tewksbury on Saturday nights after he and Paul played cribbage all Saturday afternoon.
He is at peace and a great guy.
