WILLIAM BRODY Obituary
Age 83, of Mount Lebanon, PA, on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Husband of the late Carolyn Rheta (Borden) Brody; devoted father of Susie Medved, Paul E. Brody and wife, Kathleen Shields Brody, Mary Ann Brody and wife, Nancy J. Ramsay, Thomas W. Brody and wife, Carol Brody, Michael J. Brody and wife, Debra L. Kolesar Brody, Kathryn E. Haines and husband, Robert J. Haines, and Patricia B. Scott and husband, Robert F. Scott. He also intensely loved his seven grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. Bill was an avid golfer, traveler, award winning cross stitcher, and lifelong fan of the Steelers. He loved a good story and enjoyed weaving tales of the past for eager listeners. He was a longtime parishioner at St. Bernard Church. He built a career at PPG for 41 great years. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Rd., Mt. Lebanon,MONDAY EVENING 6-8 p.m. and TUESDAY 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Bernard Church Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, followed by interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Bernard Angel Fund, 311 Washington Road, Pgh., PA 15216 or DuBois Area Catholic School, P.O. Box 567, DuBois, PA 15801.
