William Callahan Obituary
Mr. Callahan was preceded in death by his father, Travis Coleman Callahan; and his aunt, Virginia "DeeDee" Hyde. He is survived by his wife, Judy Chandler Callahan; mother, Ellen Marie Sides; daughters, Virginia Burke Callahan Irish (Jon) and Laura Adele Callahan-Caina (Pedro); sisters, Anne English Callahan, Virginia Leigh "Ginger" Carper, Mary Margaret Johnson, and Judith Marie Callahan; grand-children, Wiley David Irish, Wesley Michael Irish, Callahan Pablo Caina, and Cecilia Luz Caina; nieces and nephews, Michael Austin Johnson, Elizabeth Marie Morris, William Sydney Morris, Kathryn Anne Morris, and Megan Leigh Carper; and his fur-babies, Jubilee, Boots, and Sadie.
Mike graduated from Decatur High School in 1965 and from Florence State College in 1970. He retired from Amsouth where he worked as a branch manager and loan officer. He enjoyed hunting, painting, and playing the harmonica. He had a great smile and a witty sense of humor. He loved the time he was able to spend with his family and friends, and watching Alabama Football.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Decatur Animal Shelter and Friends, or a charity of your choice.

I have no words to express how saddened I am to hear of the loss of Brother! Just know, you are loved.. may the love of your Friends and Family carry you through this difficult time in your life.
