Billy D., Sharon, Wendi and Candice, Sorry it's me again! I cannot believe in 5 days it will be the one year mark. August 6, 2010 was a huge family shake up. My dearly loved Aunt Shoma and Bo's dad making the journey the same day. Seems like it was a couple of months ago. I will forever miss her, forever love her and forever look forward to seeing her again! I love you very very much and think of you and her EVERYday. This Saturday I will pray for you a little longer. It was hard to not get a Mother's Day card for my Aunt Shoma. I NEVER forgot to send her one. So this will have to do. I miss her everyday and will love her always.

If I added one of these entries everytime I think about your beloved mom Bill, there would be at least one for everyday she's been gone. This one is for Easter. I love you Aunt Shoma.

Billy D....I forgot to tell you, you guys did a BEAUTIFUL job with the photos. When I said in my other note "I couldn't cry more for her if I tried" - I was wrong. I had to watch the slideshow twice to see each picture clearly. I found a lot more tears. I love you Willy.

Billy D., Sharon, Wendy and Candice, We are so sorry and heartbroken to say goodbye for now to your mom and my beloved sweet Aunt Shoma. I couldn't feel the loss more if she was right here everyday. You know I loved her so much Bill and how special she always was to me. I'm sorry it's been a few days since we talked last. I know you understand we've been doing somewhat of a mirrored week with you all. Lots of unexpected things to deal with which I'm sure we are sharing. I remember how happy she was on her 80th birthday. Especially when the gals came to the door that Wendy and Candice had hired to sing happy birthday to her. I could hear her laughing with them and she said "Oh I thank you so much for singing to me on my birthday!" She was having a ball being treated like a Star. Now she's an angel so I guess her birthday 'star' was just the beginning. I had hoped to talk with you Tuesday to ask if you would mind putting my letter with your mom at the last minute but, again, didn't work out. It's just as well for you to keep it because she knows what it says anyway. I am so blessed knowing that she always knew how much I loved her and Rom Pom and you all. I couldn't cry more for her if I tried. But I pray I will see her again and you know what I'm anxious to hear --- her "Come In-nnnnn!" You know we love you all very very much, now and forever. You are just out of sight, never EVER out of our hearts. I love you/WE love you.

To all of our family & friends,
My grandmother's funeral was beautiful. Thank you for all of your kind and warm wishes and thoughts in your guest book entries. It means a lot to us that you thought of us. Grandma was an amazing person and we miss her greatly. We are at peace now that she is at her final resting place and our faith tells us she is in heaven with God and her family. Love to you all.

Dear Bill & Family,
I am so sorry about Shoma's passing. I visited with her several times a week and will miss talking over the fence. Shoma was the sweetest person and the best neighbor. I will miss her so much. May God fill you and your family with peace and know that she is in His hands now.

Bill, WE are so sorry to hear the new about Shoma. My memories at Bowling Fork with Shoma, Dorthy, my dad, Flo, Faye and the younger sisters and brothers were the best years of my life. Growing up in KY, and looking forward to everyone coming home was the best childhood anyone could have. I will miss her Christmas cards, she never missed sending them to my family. I loved her dearly. Vikki
