Uncle Bill was much more of a Grandfather to many of us then an Uncle. He was the Patriarch of our family and will be missed but never forgotten. My fondest memories are of him giving my boyfriends the once over. He only really approved of Sean so I decided to marry him. I figured if Uncle Bill gives him the okay he must be worth hanging on to. Rest in Peace, I know you will always have your eye on us from above.

To Bill and Bernida's family and the Apodaca /Fales clan;
God saw Bill getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around him and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched him, and saw him pass away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Gordon, Doris Rob and Kristen send their deepest sympathy for your loss and will always remember Bill with love and respect. We will cherish our memories of their visit to our home in Nova Scoria last year and how he was always kind and considerate to everyone. We pass our deepest condolences to all his family members .

To the family of Bill Childers,
I am going to miss Bill's wonderful smile and teasing ways. I was blessed to meet Bill and the rest of the Childers family while I was in high school, with his daughter Lenore. I will fondly recall my ride to work on his fire truck. Him taking us girls boating. I have been blessed to be a part of their family for over 38 years. My last visit with Bill was on Father's Day of this year. He was surrounded by family and full of love and laughter at his granddaughter's baby shower. Bill was blessed with a wonderful family. They all have great love for each other, what more could a man ask for. Know that I am thinking of each of you. From my family to yours my God Bless each of you. From beyond the Pearly Gates Bill can continue to look down on each of you for all eternity and that does not come as a surprise to me, but hopefully as a comfort to each of you.
Love Lori, Steve and family
