I had the privilege of being part of the family for several years. Bill was a really cool guy. He had a great sense of humor and he was very dedicated to both his family and his work. He was generous beyond belief. I often wished that I had his discipline and his (and Sherri's) work ethic. I distinctly remember being in the boat while he was flying across the lake. I looked up at the sky and the white clouds and I thought "It doesn't get any better than this." Honestly, it never did. Thank you Bill for being who you were. Thank you Sherri for showing me how good life can be. I learned a lot from you both and the entire family. Miss you all.

My children and I had the pleasure of a few memorable summers spent at the lake with Pop. He made Amarys laugh with jokes, talked to Brandon on the dock about fishing and let Alivia "drive" the boat. He treated us like we were his family. He was one of the most dignified men I have ever met. He will be missed.

Mr. `C´ is how I first knew him and what I called him. Dad of 3 girls, I became a son he never had, and we developed a closeness that many son-in-laws can only dream of. He taught and instilled so many good things in me that are reflected in my life to this very day.

Practicality - a perfect edge to the lawn, and stripes in the grass that rival a golf course. Stacking the charcoal just right to get the perfect sear on the steaks. The taste, and importance of a great cup of coffee to start the day.

The right way to let loose or relax - the feel of the wind in your hair, holding onto the windshield, standing side by side flying full throttle across Lake Wallenpaupack. The sound and feel of the dock at the marina as you walk across the warm wood barefoot (being Pop to my Ashley, he so instilled that same love of being on the water to her as well, and I love that).

Career building - he mentored me professionally through my high school years while I worked at Valley Pet Supply, and following his lead, taught me the essentials and fundamentals of good business sense and the ability to lead well by example. I loved those days working at Valley Pet with him!

And most importantly, family things - Breakfast together every Sunday. The pure joy of celebrating special holidays together. Watching `bug shows´ together (those nature specials weekly at 8:00, him lying on the floor with a single couch pillow or as he´d say `pellow´). Special dinners out together at Walps or The Paddock. Those were truly special times back then, and I miss them dearly.

Ashley, Sherri and Nana too, I am so very saddened and sorry for the loss of Pop. Though it´s been so many years since I´ve had the privilege to enjoy such things I´ve shared above with him, I need only close my eyes and can still hear him shout out clearly, "Do ya FEEL IT?" And I´m flying across the lake right next to him in the boat, the lake wind blowing all my cares away as we push the boat faster and faster. I will always cherish those wonderful times that I got to spend with him.

With love,
Chris

I was very sorry to see Bill´s passing. He was a gentleman and friend to all of us at Peters Marine. It was a pleasure to see him come in the store and share a visit with us. We always had a lot of laughs and great conversation. Although I am long retired, my memories of Bill bring me a smile. He is missed. My sincere condolences to his family.

I was 16 years old, doing cyber school from home, my father was in the hospital for months on end, bills were piling up. This man gave me the opportunity to not only go to school, but work full time and help my family. Not only did he teach me about work ethic but he saved my family. Even if I wasn´t supposed to come in that day he would find ANY reason to call me in just to get me on the clock and earn some extra money. He was single handedly the most genuine good hearted person I had ever met and there´s not enough words to describe how this man changed my life for the better. Rest in paradise uncle bill. You left one hell of a legacy and you will surely never be forgotten

I had the privilege to work with Bill for over 15 years. He was a legend in his field he built a little company into something very special. He would always go out of his way to ask about how my family was doing and actually be sincere about it. He will be missed he definitely was the GOAT.

Sorry for your loss!! I worked with Bill at Valley Pet for many years after it was purchased by Phillips Pet Food and Supplies. I used to call Bill Clark my "work father". We had a special relationship and he was a great friend to me and will be missed.
