Bill Simmons

Libby, Steve and Ann,
How fortunate to have had Bill for such a long time. My memories are of the innovations he brought to whatever he did. Radiant floor heating decades before it became popular and drywall in the house in Akron are two great examples. He was always willing to help and instruct. We still have the two black walnut end tables made from his wood that we planed together. Never lacking for an opinion, he was one worthy of a good listen.
He will be remembered and missed.

It was sad to hear of Bill's passing. I have fond memories of earlier years of holidays in Fairlawn. He always was energetic and gracious at his home. Libbey and Jack visited us in Lousiana and North Carolina which was much appreciated and great to be able to connect with them since we had left the Cleveland area many years earlier. I was always impressed with the decision to return to Hackett and the family farm. It has been a source of stories and played an important part in the upbringing of the Collier family and my mother.
He will be missed.
