June 28, 1957-May 10, 2016
William "Bill" Cress of Modesto passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. He was a native of Louisville, Kentucky and had lived in Modesto since 1999.
Bill was well known by his quick wit, sense of humor, big presence, deep voice, wisdom and passion in spreading the message. He's a natural chef and cook from scratch. He loves to play golf, tend to his garden religiously and hugs everybody. He touched the hearts and lives of so many people and surely we are all going to miss him. He is survived by his beloved Ninfa and children Lauren, Jackie, Brandon, Will and Iraya.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 4pm at the Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel, 419 Scenic Dr. Modesto, CA 95350

My condolences to Bill's wife, Ninfa and daughter Iraya (as well as all his children who he talked about often)! We knew him because our daughters are great friends! I appreciated his loving dedication as a parent to care and support his daughter Iraya! He is her #1 fan and always will be! He struggled with chronic pain and yet was positive and creative and seemed a lover of life! Blessed Be Bill and our deepest sympathies to his family! ❤
