Dear Marie,
I'm deeply sadden for your loss. I pray that god grants you the strength to deal with this difficult moment in your life. Though you and your family have lost a great man and husband, I have lost a great honorable friend, who I had the honor to serve with me in the US Army. Our friendship included 1st Cavalry Division Viet Nam, 101st Division, Ft Campbell KY, which included numerous deployments. "I am honored and blessed to have known Crockett. He was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss him. My condolences." RIP Brother " I SALUTE YOU"

Dear Marie, ROBERT and Crockett Family. Joe and I send our sincere condolences to you. We have been at a loss since the news of his death. We loved Bill, such a good man, full of spirit and loved his conversations with Joe; who was the loudest. As a husband (top score) and a mentor to Robert (life time lessons). We will mess this guy that the dear Lord sent to us to love and enjoy and have the privilege to have known him.

Good morning Marie, I was so sorry to hear the news of you losing your husband to heaven. This is one of the hardest things to go through. But if you keep your mind on Jesus as you mourn, He will give you peace
The Bible says that we sorrow, but not as others that have no hope. In essence because we will see them again. It also says, blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. And I pray that the Lord will begin to speak comfortable words to you and give you peace during this time.
I am praying for you and your family. God bless you and do your best to be strong and courageous. That doesn't mean don't cry. He catches your tears in a bottle; and He is touched by what you feel and will minister to you from that capacity. God Bless you and your family Marie!

Our sincere condolences to Marie and the entire Crockett Family for the loss of a very Humble Man, a Kind Man with a Big Heart! I am saddened that we have lost yet another Combat Veteran! First Sergeant Crockett was a Soldier's Soldier who served his country well both as a United States Army Combat Arms First Sergeant and a Quintessential Civil Servant! I commend him for his service as both a Vietnam Vet as well as a Kuwait/ Iraq War Vet! He was an excellent soldier Who loved his Family and the US Army and will be missed by all who knew him! First Sergeant Crockett retired my years ago from the Army, however he was a Soldier for life! Job Well Done my Comrade in arms! Old Soldiers Never Die They Just Fade Away! I will miss that Blue Tundra riding thru the neighborhood and that sincere look on your face!
