DARCY
Fr. WILLIAM J.
71, of Eatontown, NJ died Thursday, March 31, 2005. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha A., father, John A; brother, Donald E and infant twin son, Michael. Father Darcy was a graduate of Capital University, Columbus, OH. He earned degrees from Wayne State University, Detroit, Trinity Seminary, Columbus and St. Meinard Archabbey, IN. He was an instructor on the staffs of Capital University and Carlow Collage. Father Darcy was ordained in 1973. He retired from the US Navy Chaplain Corps as a Commander in 1995 after twenty years of service. He then served as an assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church Colts Neck, NJ. His ashes were buried at sea by the US Navy. He is survived by his brother, Richard (Joyce), former wife, Carol Darcy, twin daughter, Suzanne Dillahunt, and one grandson. A Memorial Service has been planned for August 20,2005 at 10:30 AM in St. Agnes Church on the campus of Carlow University the corner of Fifth Ave., and Robinson Street, Pittsburgh. Family and friends are welcome.
