He will always be known as Uncle Bill to us. He was such a generous person. I remember he would take me out hiking in Hartshorn woods when I was a kid if he had a free afternoon. He also put me to work for several summers and tolerated my complaining. In later years we would have spirited political discussions. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand, and he was extremely supportive when my parents passed away. I will always be grateful for all these memories. May Uncle Bill rest in peace knowing he lived a righteous life and was loved deeply by his friends and family.
