D Daxon, William John 85 of Odessa passed into God's tender care on June 7th 2012. He was a man among men, a soldier among soldiers and above all our beloved Pop and Uncle Billy. Born in Manhattan, he was an enlisted Naval then Army soldier in WWII and Vietnam. He saw the world in service to this country and met the woman of his dreams, Claudia while stationed in Ethiopa. He is preceded in death by his wife his sister Margaret and brothers Jimmy and George. He is survived by his children Eric, Peggy, Mary Ann, Lori, and George Michael, brother Robert and sister Joan Pando. He is also survived by his adoring 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grand children and cherished nieces and nephews.
