Just looked up Willie and this came up. I knew Willie when I was 17 he had his horses in upper saddle river NJ. I rode his horses and went to shows with him. Even though he passed 5 yrs ago I'm sorry for his passing. I lived in Fl for 30 yrs and know Melbourne. Would like to contact his daughters. God Bless the DeLeyer Family!

I'd like to start out by saying to the entire DeLeyer family that I am sorry to hear of your loss. Willy was one of the best men I knew. I met him when I was only a teenager when I worked for him at the farm. Willy has taught me lots of life lessons that have been imbedded in me throughout my life. He taught me that there's nothing wrong with a hard days work and that it always pays off at the end of the day. I must also thank him for for helping me learn how to drive. To this day I still remember driving his pickup truck ( which seemed huge at the time ) with him in the passenger seat saying your doing good. I wish I was able to spend more time with him and he will be greatly missed by this young whippersnapper
RIP Willy.
