To the Demarest Family and Diane,
I somehow thought Mr.D (as we called him in the Dowling household) would live forever. I'm very sorry for your loss but I'm glad he passed peacefully. He was a very good friend to my parents - particularly my father when he was having health problems 30 years ago. As my brother Jim said, he was a pleasure to be around - and he was always very nice to the Dowling boys. I wish you all well with nothing but fond memories. Mr. D would want you all to remember him with joy and laughter.

To the Demarest family and Diane. You are all in my prayers. Your Dad was truly a one of a kind guy. Also upbeat and a pleasure to be around. He was an incredibly loyal friend to my Dad for many, many years providing invaluable support during tough times. He will always be remembered and he will surely be missed.
Love Jim Dowling
