Mom and I would like to express our deepest sympathy. Bill worked with Dad for many years at C&SOE and I always remember him coming our place at The Lake to go fishing in the summers. We didnt find out until I was at West and in choir that our Dads were friends. Mr. DeWeese you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Tracie James Bellaw and Doris James.

To The DeWeese Family -
My deepest sympathies on Bill's passing. I worked for C&SOE as summer help in the late 70s for three years, and many times had the privilege of working for Bill on his crew. He was a great mentor and took the time to teach me the job. On many occasions he rescued me from sweeping out the cavernous garage ("You want to work today, or push a broom?" ), taking me out in the field with his team. He taught me to climb poles and really went out of his way to help me learn the ropes. He was a great guy and I remember him with fondness. My father (also ex-C&SOE) always spoke highly of Bill and his work at Southwest. Rest in Peace, Bill.

They say "time heals all wounds" and it does, but the fond memories you all have of Bill will be in your hearts forever. I have many fond memories of your whole family as I was previliged to take part in some of the Lake Erie trips and spend time with kids as they grew up. I'm blessed by the memories I have stored in my heart for you all. Thanks for sharing your lives with so many. Love, Toni Lee (Rose) Gilcrest
