WILLIAM R. DOOMY 67 years old, of Royal Palm Beach, FL died on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Gerstenberg Hospice Center. Born in Steubenville, OH, he was a resident of the Palm Beach area for over 18 years and long employed as a painting contractor with the Serraes Construction Co. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline L. Doomy; brothers, Frank H. Doomy, George Snedeker, and Thomas Snedeker and a brother-in-law, Norman Henderson. He is survived by three children, Sandra Bell (James) of Wilmington, NC, Georgianna Doomy of Royal Palm Beach, FL, and William Doomy (Gini) of Port St. Lucie, FL; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Johnny, and Shane, and Secelia, Jude, Jesse, and Jacqueline; and two great grandchildren, Zoe and Kaylee. Additional survivors include three sisters, Geraldine Henderson of Royal Palm Beach, FL, and Phyllis Yaussy of West Jefferson, OH and Irene O'Neil of Chicago, IL and a sister-in-law, Sharon Doomy of Winston Salem, NC. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 1201 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401, with a Scripture Service to begin at 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, Wellington, FL, with the entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of William R.
