In William S. Dunham Sr., 76, of Salisbury, MD died October 30, 2010 at John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He was born in Pittsfield, MA and was the son of the late Clara E. Dunham and Carl Dunham. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked in retail management for 35 years with United Merchants and Manufacturing, A.G. Fields, Hess Apparel, Chesapeake Pottery and Roses Stores. Since his retirement, Mr. Dunham worked part-time for M&M Mars and until his death for Fleet Pride, formerly Wareheim Air Brakes. He was preceded in death by his son W. Stephen Dunham II and a sister Nancy Belcher. Mr. Dunham is survived by his lovely wife Claire of 53 years, a daughter, Sandra Lee Booth and her husband Robert of Bel Air, MD; a son, Sean M. Dunham and his wife Lisa of Willow, AK; a sister, Margaret Estes and her husband Richard of Port Charlotte, FL; a brother, George V. Dunham and his wife Delores of Dalton, MA; several nieces and nephews; three granddaughters, Jacquelyn and Jenna Booth and Nicole C. Dunham; two grandsons, Ryan and Cody Dunham and one great grandson, Tucker Stephen Dunham. Mr. Dunham was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury where a memorial mass was celebrated with family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Joseph House, PO Box 1755, Salisbury, MD 21802.
