Lawrence Groholski Obituary
Menomonee Falls - Found peace on Nov. 12, 2019. Age 70 years. Loving husband of Susan (nee Kreckel) for 50 years. Loving dad of Dawn (Randy) Ziarek and Kevin (Jennifer). Proud grandpa of Kenzie "Buddy" Ziarek and Katelyn and Leah Groholski. Dear brother of Bruce (Ellen), Wayne (Kathy), Matthew (Maureen) Groholski and Christine (Bob) Loesl. Dear brother-in-law of Donald (Tammy) Kreckel and Dorothy (the late Ricardo) Maldonado. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Larry will be held Sat. Nov. 16 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Sussex from 1 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 4 PM. On Sun. Nov. 17 we will be leaving from the Funeral Home at 10:30 AM to go to Wisconsin Memorial Park for the Committal Service with full Military Honors at 11 AM. (Please meet at the Funeral Home at 10 AM). In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight are appreciated. Larry was an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and he was a 33 year employee of Harley Davidson.

Mike and I were so sad to hear about your husband and Father, Larry, and remember him being a very friendly and loving, caring person. Larry was a wonderful person to know and the more you knew about Larry,the more you realized what a special person he was.With his Bright upbeat personality and Big Smile he was always a person to uplift your spirit and give enthusiasm to any situation where teamwork(the people) were involved.At Harley he was such a "Happy Go Lucky" guy that he would regularly break out in song while listening to the radio; and many of us would join in while he was bringing a smile to all of us.Larry was a dedicated Harley Experimental Mechanic and played a key role in the Development and Support of Harley's New Model Motorcycle Introductions and roll-out.It is unsung guys like him that built Harley to Prominence.Larry was a proud Army Veteran of the Vietnam era and he brought his wartime lessons of life into our Lives in a meaningful way.He was a person who personifies the Heart and Soul of American Pride and for American families of personal integrity.He will be missed by us all but never forgotten as fond memories of Great people in good times are always cherished in the human mind.Sincere thoughts,prayers and Love to all his Family and Friends with this loss.We will be rejoined with Larry (In Heaven) some day -later down the road of Life.Once again we will enjoy that Big Smile and warm personality.This I know for sure.It is Jesus's promise to such as these.

A wonderful family man. Served our country during Viet Nam war. Larry gave the ultimate sacrifice, his health serving his country. Always a kind smile. You will be greatly missed by family and friends.
