On Saturday, September 1, 2018, William E. "Bill", age 83, of Anthem, AZ, formerly of Baldwin Boro. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (Freund) Egler; father of William "Bill" (Gwendolyn) Egler of Cave Creek, AZ, Kimberly (Kevin) McKiernan of Hillsborough, NC, Kathleen (Daniel) Intolubbe of Cave Creek, AZ, Kelly (Kenneth) Gill of Miamisburg, OH and Brad (Lindsay) Egler of Pittsburgh; grandfather of 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother of Donna Dighan; also survived by nieces and nephews. Bill was a family man who liked to golf, play cards, and watch Pittsburgh sports, particularly the Steelers and Penguins. Friends received Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road, South Park Twp., (412) 655-4600. Funeral prayer Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Church at 11 a.m. Condolences may be offered for the family at

Our deepest condolences on the loss of this wonderful man. His dry sense of humor and his love for all things Pittsburgh sports will remain with us.

He was a great friend to us from the moment we met him and we will miss him very much.
