My sympathy to the entire Emery family. I worked with Bill at DLC and Beaver Valley Nuclear PS ... we collaborated on a number of design jobs over the years. Bill was a very good engineer and HVAC guy, as well as a generally good-humored and pleasant individual. He had nicknames for everyone and pet terms for most work situations ... he was always entertaining to talk to and work with. I remember one time he was painting the outside of his home after dark with lights because of the schedules we kept ... quite a character. He loved his cars, and I am happy to read that he continued with them, and had the opportunity to travel, after his retirement. It was a privilege to know him.

My sincere condolences. I first met Bill through Steel Cities Region, where I raced my MGB in the same class as Bill & his TR3. Later, we renewed our friendship via the Western PA Triumph Assn. It was always fun when Bill joined us for our monthly Beer & Bull meetings, as he always had great (and FUNNY) stories to tell. We (our group of "gear-heads") will sure miss Bill, but will be thankful we were able to know him and share good times with him.

I'm a 38 year SCCA member and loved talking to Bill and watching him just love driving that TR3. Jim Locke
