Susan,
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
In the Arms of God. We don't like to say good-bye to those whom we love. Whether it be at school or a cemetery, separation is tough. It is right for us to weep, but there is no need for us to despair. They had pain here. They have no pain there. They struggled here. They have no struggles there. You and I might wonder why God took them home, but they don't. They understand. They are, at this very moment, at peace in the presence of God. When it is cold on earth, we can take comfort in knowing that our loved ones are in the warm arms of God. And when Christ comes, we will hold them, too.
God bless you Susan.
Your friend from school. Sharon Corso

The Fralic Family,
My heart goes out to Bills mom, brothers and wife Susan, for the loss of your dear Bill. I first met Bill back in junior high. We had classes together and became good friends. Then I developed a huge crush on him and drove him crazy. LOL. We never had any more classes together in high school and unfortunately, our paths never really crossed again. Bill was such a good, kind person and would always make me laugh. He will always be remembered for being a such huge, great football superstar, great friend and humanitarian. For me, Bill will always be my first teenage crush. God bless and Rest In Peace Bill.

Mrs. Fralic, I wish to send my condolences on the passing of Bill. I am a former classmate of Bill's who graduated with him from Penn Hills Senior High School, Pittsburgh PA in 1981. I have not seen Bill in person since high school however, I was able to follow his life and the enormous contributions that he not only made in college and the NFL but continued to make in the community following his retirement from the NFL. Your husband will always be remembered by me as a "gentle giant" who was one of the kindest people whom I have ever come across during my lifetime. When I think of him, I'll always remember going home from junior high in 7th grade to tell my parents that I had a man in my class, he was just that tall. Again, please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss.

How you treat others who can do nothing for you is a definitive measure of any human being. In that regard as well as many others Bill lives on as a super bowl champ. I'm grateful to have been his friend and will never, NEVER forget him.
My sincere condolences to Susan and the Fralic family.
Fondly,

I graduated high school with Bill in 1981. I knew who he was of course (who didn't) but did not know him on a personal basis. My last memory of Bill was running into him a year after our graduation from Penn Hills High School on the Pitt Campus in Oakland with my then boyfriend. We saw him walking toward us and stopped him to say hello. He was such a gentleman - he smiled (and what a great smile he had) and shook our hands and chatted with us in such a cordial manner and could not have been kinder. My deepest sympathy to the Fralic family and all who knew and loved Bill.

Deepest sympathies to the Fralic family. I remember when Bill joined the Morningside Bulldogs team. Even at such a young age he was a big but quiet and respectful presence. How proud you must be that he continued his respectful ways and accomplished so much! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Joe - I've not met you or your Fralic family, but I grew up with your wife Teresa. I saw where you brother, Bill, had passed away and I found articles about him, and was choked up and amazed at what a beautiful legacy he leaves to you, your family, and the world. What an honorable, decent, kind, and generous human being he was. You all must be so proud of all he accomplished and will be remembered for, even though he has left so soon. His accomplishments and legacy will live on for others to follow his example, and continue to make the world a better place. I hope the thoughts and prayers of others bring you a little peace at this time. -- Anita Kayser

On behalf of the Dobson family from Penn Hills, I want to extend our most sincere condolences to Bill's circle of life. My brother Keith and I were sharing stories about our interactions with Bill from our Penn Hills days. All were so great to revisit. I happened to be in Pittsburgh over the weekend when we heard this news and coincidentally I was with other friends from Penn Hills -- all pass on their sincere sympathy respectfully.

I was a member of Alcoma Golf Club where Bill caddied when he was young. I always asked for him. Nice young man - and of course - very big for his age.
