We met Mr Frost several years ago at the Thornton Reunion. Jane is a Thornton descendant and Roy's family came from Wytheville. We looked forward to talking to Mr Frost each year as he was such a gentleman and interesting to talk to. We have missed him the last couple of years and wondered if he was OK. Sorry to hear of his passing and his family is in our thoughts and prayers.

There will be a missing piece in the lives of many people who came into contact with fine gentleman!

From the tree of life each leaf must fall
Each one in God's own time He'll call,
The great and the small

Our community has lost another outstanding citizen and friend. He taught us all a lot and set a fine example to follow. Bill will be badly missed. May his family take comfort in knowing that he touched so many lives as he passed this way.
