Age 33, of Glendale, Oregon died Saturday, November 17, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Glendale Assembly of God Church, Glendale, Oregon with Pastor Terry Bess officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors of Grants Pass, Oregon are in charge of arrangements. Remembrances may be made to any branch of Umpqua Bank on behalf of the William "Billy" Furia family. Please sign the family guest book at www.since1928hull.com. Billy was born November 2, 1979 in Lompoc, CA. He graduated from Seaside High School in Seaside, CA. After graduation he moved to Healdsburg, CA. On December 18, 1998 in Santa Rosa, CA he married his wife, Sarah. They moved from Healdsburg to Glendale, OR in 2003 and was employed by Purdy Construction, Inc in Central Point, OR. Billy was a member of the Cement Masons Union #555. He volunteered his time at church functions and with his kid's sports teams. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, mountain biking, woodwork, and carpentry. In addition to his wife, Sarah Furia; he is survived by two daughters, Leilani and Brooklyn; and a son, William all of Glendale, Oregon; his parents, Richard and Sharon Furia of Windsor, California; a sister, Samantha Lynn Paull of Windsor, California; and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delma Lynn Smith; a sister, Lisa Michelle Hausley; a brother-in-law, Joshua Michael Petree; and many other Furia family members.

I can not imagine the loss your family must feel. Will and I were friends in highschool and I have many fun memories of him. I'm pretty sure he was the only reason I went to any football games, just to watch him play. He was such a good person. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I loved my brother Billy from the start. I always looked up to him and he always made time for me when I would visit so we could have our "brother" time. That was always something that I loved. He was such a good natured person, he didn't have an evil bone in his body. He also never sweat the small stuff which was always something that I admired.

You never expect tragedies like this to happen, so a lot of times things go unsaid. I thank God I didn't make that mistake. When he was in Windsor, CA recently I was able to hug him and tell him that I loved him, he said; "I love you too bro". As much as it hurts to say goodbye, I'm glad he went knowing how loved he was by everyone, myself included.

I can't wait until the day I get to see him again. But until then I will think of him often, and tell people how great my brother Billy was.

It is hard to put into words the sadness I am feeling.
I am so honored and blessed to have been your sister.
I have so many wonderful memories that I will cherich.
You are a spectactular Uncle and I will always remember teasing you and giving you a hard time,and telling you that Vala had you wrapped around your pinky.
She was so sweet on you and she loves you so much.
I can hear her now.. "Ucnle Billy I love you" and your face would light up you always replied "I love you too Vala"
We had so many conversations and I always appreciated your honesty.

William was more than just my brother, he was my best friend throughout our childhood and until we each married and had kids of our own. From my first memories as a kid, I was always by his side....or following close behind. Wherever he went I had to go too.

When our mother passed away, William at 7 years old, kept me safe and calm in the time of chaos. He was always trying to protect me and look out for me.

As we got older and each had our own families, we went our own ways but whenever together our bond still held true and I will forever feel like a part of me is with him.

Through all the good and the bad, I am grateful to have so many wonderful memories of my brother.

I cannot put into words what I feel having lost him and without the chance to say goodbye. The pain I feel from his leaving this life at such a young age, with so much life left to live and without having the chance to watch his children grow up, is soothed only by the thought that he is smiling down upon us all, with that William grin. I know that he is once again with our Mother, Sister, Nana, and many other cherished family members and that brings me some peace in the sorrow.

While I cannot understand why this was his time, I do know that what he left behind was an amazing wife, with a tremendous amount of strength and three beautiful, smart, talented children that each represent a part of him that we will forever cherish as we watch them grow and thrive.

Bubbah, you were my rock when life was so unfair. You were a wonderful son, husband, father, brother, friend, and so much more. I hold you in my heart and will forever miss you! I love you more than I ever really let you know!
