Age 75, passed away on September 27, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. He was born on March 26, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late William T. Gardell and Elizabeth M. Leopold. Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dorrie Gardell; his children, William (Patty) Gardell, Brian (Lisa) Gardell, Tony Seko and Lisa (Dave) Gifford; along with his sisters, Donna Gardell and Judy (Jim) Etherington. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Cami and Will; as well as many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Bill was a banker in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the majority of his life. In 1998 he and his wife, Dorrie made the move to Orlando, Florida. Once here, Bill worked for Walt Disney World for almost 10 years. Along with having a love for Disney, Bill also had a love for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a good artist, loved listening to Elvis and had the most amazing sense of humor. Everyone who knew Bill loved being around him, his smile and laugh will be missed by all. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a late date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bill's name to Cornerstone Hospice.

I just learned of Bill's passing today. As a Realtor I had the pleasure of working with Bill & Dorrie when they relocated to Orlando. Bill always was easygoing & very personable. He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. My deepest condolences go out to Dorrie & the entire Gardell family. Merry Christmas & RIP Bill Gardell. I know he's creating smiles in Heaven.
