William Gear Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 19, 2008.
GEAR, William (Bill) Herron "Beagle". Passed away suddenly in his home on March 14, 2008. Pre-deceased by his wife Sue Gear. Bill will be fondly remembered by his many friends, in particular, Stephen and Mary-Lou Boyer, Fred and Sandra Dewsbury, Nancy Williams of Stittsville, Beverly Conkin of Sydney, B.C. and Will Alexander of Milton. Bill's life revolved around his love for Beagles from breeding to showing at National Beagle Club of American's specialty show and the Westminster Dog show. Bill was a sincere gentle man who loved people, pets, fun, and adventure. Also, a little Tom Foolery was not out of the question. All those whose lives he touched were truly blessed by his friendship. Bill's wishes were to be buried with his family at the Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal. Memorial service to take place at the J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James St., Milton (905) 878-2669 on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion and Milton District Hospital or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
