Age 89, of Aurora, formerly of Upper St. Clair, PA, born in Chicago, graduated from University of Illinois with a Bachelor's degree in engineering, lifelong employee of US Steel, manager of Bars & Semi Finished Products. Beloved husband of Frances (Mullen); devoted father of William P., Jr. (Sherry) and Katie Berridge (Marc); dear grandfather of Amanda, Patrick, Kevin and Dennis; great-grandfather of Mathilda and Phillip; dear brother of Jack, James and the late Tom. In lieu of flowers, family suggests for donations to be made to The Salvation Army. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at The Church of the Resurrection, 32001 Cannon Rd., Solon, OH. Family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016. Reception immediately following.

Bill was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The relationship he had with his wife was an example of what a good marriage should be. I will miss his humor and conversations with him across the holiday dinner table. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
