William Green Jr.

William "Pete" Green, Jr. 66, of Texarkana, AR passed away July 29, 2019 at his home. Mr. Green was born August 31, 1952 in El Dorado, AR. He was a deacon and member of Arabella Heights Baptist Church. He was a retired mechanic; he worked at Texarkana Truck Center for 30 plus years. He attended Auto Diesel Mechanic School in Nashville, TN - finished in 1972. He held numerous certificates and accomplishments in diesel mechanics and bodywork.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michele Green.

Survivors include his wife, Betty A. Green of Texarkana, AR; son and daughter-in-law, William P. and Amber N. Green and grandson, Preston Green all of Centerton, AR; special granddaughter, Mikayla Martin of Haslet, TX; sister, Lois Pickard of Broken Arrow, OK and sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Roger Williams of Coweta, OK; sister, Carol Whitlow of Arlington, TX; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2019 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Gerald Wagstaff and Rev. Craig Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the funeral home.
