William Bill Hackett

William F. Hackett, Sr. "Bill", 61, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on August 23rd, 2018. William was born September 26th, 1956 in Indianapolis, IN to Kenneth Wilkins and Lester Mae (Bryant) Hackett. He graduated as a Tech Titan in 1976. William married his wife, Susan Diane (Thornton) Hackett on October 14th, 1989. He was employed by Roselyn Bakeries from 1978-1992 and employed at Sensient from 1993-2016. He was a feared linebacker in the city of Indianapolis. Bill loved fishing, and enjoyed watching and coaching his son in football from the sidelines. Bill always loved a good conversation. William is survived by his wife of 28 years, Susan; 2 sons, William Franklin Hackett, Jr., Erik Franklin Hackett. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Kenneth Hackett, Dewayne Hackett, Vivian Wilburn. Services for William will be held on Tuesday August 28th, 2018 at 6pm at the Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church, 3179 N. 600 W. Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial gathering to follow funeral service. Ethan Maple to preside.
