I'm sad you went home pop. The memories of a life that leaves big smiles on my face. I'll always love and miss my best friend and dad. I was so lucky to be blessed with you as my dad.
I love you pop!

I love you Pop,
Not a day will go by without thinking of you. The times we shared are happy ones. The crabs and sourdough bread and your homemade award winning vanilla ice cream won't be the same without you. The time we fished Pine Flat Lake and you said, whatever we drop is gone. You no sooner said those words and I dropped the tip of my pole and lucky for me it floated. Lol.
Your words of wisdom I'll carry in my heart. You were a great father and I thank the Lord I was your son. Taking you to your 69th and 70th H.S. Reunions are priceless in my memory. You lived a long and full life till Jesus said.. C'mon home Bill.. Heaven awaits!
A part of me went away on that day but you'll always be with me.
You are solely missed but I'm so happy you are in Heaven. The words you spoke to me many years ago' ya said, son. Promise me you'll meet me in Heaven. I'll be there Pop.
I'll always love you dad..
Your son, Randall Eugene Halsey

I really enjoyed his company while dining on ducks. He had a way of making you feel at home when he was around. I will miss his smile and the twinkle in his eyes. He will be truly missed.

Bill was a wonderful man and a great father-in-law. He did so much with us that a gaping hole will be left in our lives, but the wonderful memories will flood in to fill that gap. Happy Hunting Bill!

After a very full life of 89 years, William has entered into his final resting place. May family and friends find comfort by reflecting on the wonderful memories that you shared together.

I will miss his company on our hunting trips, but there was so much more to Bill than just hunting. He was a hard working man who loved his kids and family. He did his best to share his views on being a good father and we spent hours talking about raising kids and paying bills. I will always hold dear the time we spent over the years. His company on those trips will be part of my life and I will always remember him for it. Hugs and Prayers for Bill and all his loved ones.
