William HAMILTON Obituary
In loving memory of Bob Hamilton who passed away peacefully March 20, 2013 in Nanaimo, B.C. with his daughter Linda and Ron at his bedside.
An engineer by trade, with the Canadian Navy and B.C. Ferries. Bob also loved fishing, gardening and travelling. He enjoyed life with smiles, laughter, and a sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and close friend Fern.
He is survived by his daughter Linda, sister Violet, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
We wish to thank the staff at Malaspina Gardens for all their loving care and attention in making my dad's stay safe and comfortable.
No service by request. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.

Wish to send my thoughts and love to Bob's family, Linda, Ron, Pam & Laurissa along with their extended families.
I just learned of his passing Friday, and was saddened, yet immediately remembered lots of good laughs and his
hospitality (refreshments) when Linda and I wallpapered his kitchen !!!
He was a great dad for her and I know she held a very very special spot in her heart for him, he will be missed,
but remembered with much love by all who were fortunate to cross his path.
Enjoy the "party" Bob with your old friends !! Cheers !

I always had a good time working with Hammy, we had the best engineering watch in Departure Bay because of Bob's sense of humour and patience with the new guys who always showed up on his watch for training, me being one of them. Forever grateful.

We will sadly miss Bob, he was a special companion to our Mom after our Dad passed and made her life very happy and was a wonderful man. He was always willing to help others and always had a good story to tell.
