I´m so sorry to hear that Bill has passed away. I had the pleasure of knowing Bill way back in 1992 when he purchased a home in Miami right before hurricane Andrew hit the area. I had the pleasure of attending his wedding in St. Louis and meeting his family. From day one he made me feel part of the family. All though we had not stayed in touch it pains me to know he has passed on. I believe Bill is now a guardian angel in heaven looking over everyone he had know and touched the lives of. May god rest your soul my friend.

Beth,
Jennifer Devany (I don't remember her married name) saw me at the SLUH open house this year and told me of your sudden and tragic loss. I want to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Just 10 days after Bill died my oldest son, Tom, was killed while biking in Colorado where he lived leaving behind his wife and 8 year old son. Know that I share in your grief and will keep you in my prayers. Some things just don't make sense.

Beth, I am truly sorry for your loss, I just heard about Bill's passing this morning on the radio. I worked with him for a few years at Carr Textile and he was always a sweet gentle man and loved his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your sons.

I went to school with Bill back in the 80's. He was always a nice guy, who went out of his way, take a minute a talk to you. I heard the news, via Facebook. I was totally in shock. How such a great human being, along with being a wonderful husband to Beth, and superb father to his boys, has been tragically taken away. My prayers go out to all members of the Hessi family. What a great ambassador to the Catholic church at SMMA. Bill, you will be deeply missed.

Bill's warmth and his caring, friendly manner were the reasons I chose my apartment. I knew from the moment I met him that I could trust him. All of SMMA will feel the loss of such a great person. Bill was a great coach to our son's baseball team and always a helpful neighbor. He also managed the Fish Fries, the beer truck at the Annual Picnic, and so much more up at SMMA. He will be missed so much by so many.

Bill wasn't a nice guy, Bill was the nicest guy. He was genuinely nice and caring - a rare soul, a heart of gold. He impacted every life he touched, including mine and my kids. He will be greatly missed but will forever live on in all the wonderful memories we shared. I feel truly blessed to have Bill in our lives.

I have such fond memories of Bill, with that gorgeous smile that always shined when talking about his children and the unconditional love he has shown them. He shared all of their lives with them and in the end nothing speaks more of the importance of that approach when a life is ended too soon. I can't even say how amazing Bill Hessi was. I know we only knew him as a landlord, but I can honestly say that he was the most amazing landlord any person could have. He genuinely cared about his tenants and went out of his way to make sure their needs were met. When we first met Bill, we immediately knew we wanted him to be our landlord. He had a way of making you feel like you had known him for years. He will be greatly missed. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family.
