When I was growing up, Mr. Hicks was one of my "uncles" at church, as my real uncles were far away in other states. Many memories of being at the Hicks family homestead there in the Franklin Park area.
I am so glad we will all meet again, in a perfect world without pain or sadness.
God bless and keep the family during this time.

I had Mr. Hicks as my principle all through McKnight Elementary. He was always so nice to the kids! Sympathy for his family, but so many of his students remember him with kindness! I am 66 and still remember his kind ways!

Bill Hicks was my husband's best friend ! John Cox and Bill Hicks were lifelong friends starting in elementary school, roommates in college, best man at our wedding. Bill and Lou and I went on many vacations together and were close all our lives. John passed away in 2014 and now his dearest friend, Bill. He will be missed by so many, his loving family and many friends. We were blessed to have Bill in our lives as well as dear Lou. All my love, Martha Cox

Mary Lou and family ,
I am so sorry to hear the loss of Bill. He was always cheerful and delighted to talk to when he stopped by at TBones. I enjoyed serving him. I know that he is in much better place like my Dad . God Bless you all..
