William "Bill" Eugene Hoff, 93, of Westminster, Maryland died peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House.Born on January 13, 1925 in New Windsor, Maryland he was the son of the late William Samuel and Mable (Brown) Hoff. He was the husband of the late Myrtle Arlene (Hunt) Hoff.Bill spent most of his career in the banking and accounting industry in Carroll County. He was a very active member of the Westminster Church of the Brethren and volunteered much of his time to working as the church treasurer as well as time at the Brethren Service Center. He was a former member of Westminster Kiwanis Club. Bill was an avid reader, puzzle master, and enjoyed hiking and gardening.He is survived by daughters, Lynn Hoff Mahovsky and husband Joe of Ellijay, GA, and Cindy Hoff Dunbar and husband Scott of Westminster; and sister, Doris Ghent of Joppatown. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Hoff.A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster with the Rev. Glenn McCrickard officiating. Burial will follow in Pipe Creek Cemetery near Linwood. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 18th from 2-5 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to either the Westminster Church of the Brethren, 1 Park Place, Westminster, MD 21157 or to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
