To The Holtzman Family:
Just heard from the late Gino's wife the news of Willy's passing.
Over the 30 odd years I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Willy, the only words that I can describe Willy is " He was a great gentleman who was well respected by his friends and suppliers.
Willy, please know you may be gone but never forgotten.

My condolences to the Holtzman family - especially to his beloved children. Willy Holtzman was a great friend to many people. He supported everyone through his gift of making people laugh - and laugh with him we did.
Now, to the entire Holtzman family, remember our gift of friendship and support is extended to you - because he would want everyone to laugh again.
Rest In Peace, Willy - you will be greatly missed.

Dear Family Holtzman, Derraugh and Ross,
I met your very special soul Willy, back in the the mid nineties when he travelled on Canadian Airlines through Montreal. (Yes, we'd always upgrade him!) Only later did I find out while checking him in on a flight that he was a very good business friend of my husband, Gino. He'd actually be flying in to see my husband and we never made the connection until much later! Saddly, the love of my life, my Gino passed away Jan 26, just 2 months ago and I know this saddened Willy. They were so similar in character, they both had such a love for life and laughter. Generous souls are now reunited and I assure you, that Willy was greeted with a warm hug and a new joke. They will be hosting their version of a Comedy Fest/Just for Laughs. We loved Willy dearly, a beautiful spirit, generous and loving. Mourning deeply myself, I wish you and yours, the strength to endure this sorrow and the knowledge that time will ease your pain, leaving peace in your heart and plenty of cherished memories.
Heartfelt sympathies,
Warmly,
P.S. We used to love his "funky ties"!
