Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 8, 2010.
Mr. Hutchinson 70 years young, passed away suddenly & unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Homestead Hospital. He was born on December 29, 1939 in Salem, NJ to the late William S. Hutchinson and the late Mary Alice (nee Munyen) Hutchinson. He was a former resident of Loxahatchee, FL and more recently resided in Chiefland, FL. Hutch was a High School Graduate and held multiple degrees in various fields of study.
He was an Honorably Discharged Naval Veteran serving from 1957 until 1960. Mr. Hutchinson's primary occupation was an Operating Engineer in the Heavy Construction Industry for numerous years. Hutch volunteered with the Tri-County Toys for Tots Toy Run for six years and was a 32nd Degree Mason with his home Brown Lodge #51 F&AM in Chiefland, FL and a Masonic Senior Warden for the past 25 years and an Abate Member. He also volunteered work with the Hospice organization and loved to hunt, ride motorcycles, and play music. Hutch was the kind of man that was a brother to his friends and they didn't mind telling him that they loved him. He was a plethora of knowledge and allowed his friends and family to tap into his knowledge base.

Hutch was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather for over 40 years and leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Valeria Hutchinson, children; Lisa Marino, and William Dean Hutchinson, grandchildren; Steven Marino, and Michelle Marino, niece, Barbara Thompson, sister, Joyce Pope, and cousins, Irene Needles, Buddy Needles and Punkin Needles.

Still cant believe you are gone but I know you would want us to carry on. I will never forget all the time you spent being my best friend and dad I hope u knew how much u meant. Your love was never taken for granted I just wish I could of had more time to show you it. Missing you more and more everyday, life is hard without you here it isn't easy to say. Thank you for everything you have ever done for me and being my friend, thinking of my life without you in it would of sucked and been bland. True friends are hard to come by, I'm so thankful I had my time with you before u had to fly. Hutch watch over us and keep us safe, I am looking forward to again seeing your beautiful face.

My Daddy: A life well lived, lessons taught and learned, even now. As your child I feel great pride and great pain. As a sister I share these feelings with my brother. As a wife I can only try to grasp the depth of my wonderful mother's heartbreak. Lesson learned Dad; I will "Live" my life well, carrying you always in my heart; always leaving room for new friends and no room for hate. Rest assured that we've got mom's back and we will hold her heart for you. I'll miss you until we hug again. Your loving daughter, Lisa

Val, We are glad we had the opportunity to meet the BOTH of you thru Barbie. We were very saddened when we got the news from Barb about Bill... He gave me many laughs, especially when you pulled on each side of his moustache the last time we were at Barb and Tims house. We will miss him dearly BUT his hugs and smile will always be with me..Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time...Milt & Cookie Shuffield(Beverly Hills, Fl)

I truely feel blessed to have met Hutch as he would visit me each year to secure escorts for the Toys for Tots Ride. He always brought stories and laughter with his visits. Such a character but so sincere. I feel honored to call him my friend and extend same to his family. God Bless you and know that Hutch is busy organizing Heavenly Rides for us someday!

Hutch will be greatly missed. He touched many lives in the Tri-County area and apparently everywhere he was present. Dave and I met Hutch through Toys for Tots in the Tri-County area. We will be striving hard this year to live up to his expectations and know that he is watching over us.

Some people that you meet in life just leave an impression. " HUTCH " was that guy. My Brother, my friend, the world has been robbed of the goodness you spread like seeds of hope for all the children whose lives you touched. You will be forever missed, always loved, and never forgotten. God bless.

To Hutch's family: I can only offer my feeble comments at your heartfelt loss.
Brother Hutch was your Dad, Husband, and Grandfather. He was my Masonic Brother and I loved him. I never saw Hutch that he wasn't up beat and positive about life. He was truly an inspiration of what we all aspire to be in our lives. Hutch was the epitome of the definition of a "gentle"man and my life is so much better because of knowing him. May the Great Architect of the Universe give him eternal rest and refreshment.

Mom, I am so sorry. I can't believe dad is gone... I just want that one more hug, one more of our great conversations and laughs around the fire pit. Joey was so looking forward to their hunting trip. Dad was the most genuine, honest, caring man I have ever know. He kept it real. I will always remember our Easter Bunny!! He was so good to the kids. He was so good to everyone he knew and cared about. We love you mom!
