William J. “Wild Bill” Miser Obituary
Died: Feb. 16, 2012
William J. "Wild Bill" Miser, 56, passed away peacefully at his home on Feb. 16, 2012. He was born Feb. 14, 1956 in Downers Grove.
He pursued a career as a general contractor, with Misers Custom Builders becoming a household name in the Fox Valley area. Misers Custom Builders moved to the Aurora Municipal Airport more than 10 years ago, building multiple hangers and becoming part of the family at Lumanair Aviation.
Bill was a dedicated father to Gretchen, Heather, Joshua, and Noah, and his step-daughter Melissa Renzi, spending the past 10 years as a single parent. He enjoyed his role as grandpa, teaching one of his grandsons to rock climb at the age of 4.
Bill is survived by his loving children; his three grandsons; his mother, Alice, as well as his siblings, Nancy, Bob, George, John, Mary, Debra, and Cynthia.
He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Jim and his father, John Miser.

Although I had the honor of of knowing Bill a scant 8 yrs,We are a kind of kindered spirit. I will testify to his love of family,work ethic,cooking,music.

Sorry for the loss of your Father.My heart goes out to you and the family during this difficult time.
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
