William Jerram Obituary
The eldest son of P. William and Mary (Redfield) Jerram, born on November 2, 1943, Bill grew up in Portsmouth. He graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1961 and St. Francis College in 1966.
After a long career in sales and marketing, Bill found great joy in his retirement volunteering for local organizations - first at AIDS Response Seacoast and then at Portsmouth Hospital where he worked at nurses stations and with the Mended Hearts program. He truly enjoyed his years at the hospital and one of his proudest moments was being honored as the 2019 FRIST Volunteer of the Year.
Bill leaves a legacy of love - his wife of 53 years, Kathy Fullam; his son, Matt, wife Erika, and their children Alison and Maddie; his daughter, Betsy Melanson and her husband Pete; his sister, Mary Margaret Jerram; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and children of choice.
He was predeceased by his brother, Charles Francis, and nephew Corey Todd Jerram.
A memorial gathering is planned for Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 12 pm - 3 pm at The Venue at Portwalk Place.
