William Kunsak

William "Bill" Kunsak, formerly of the Woods Run area of Pittsburgh, PA and long-time South Florida resident, passed away peacefully at the age of 92. Bill was predeceased by his parents John and Anna and siblings Anna, Margaret, Elizabeth, Agnes, Helen and John. Bill leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Bill was an active member at Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church in Wilton Manors where he sang in the choir. He was passionate about his family traditions and celebrated Russian Christmas and Easter every year with his signature dinners; he was a consummate cook, baker and party host.

Bill served as a volunteer usher at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts since their opening day in 1991; they recently placed a brick in his honor on the Riverwalk in Fort Lauderdale. Bill was also active in quilting panels for the AIDS Memorial Quilt at Center One when the project was first started. Bill loved country dancing and was a member of the Southern Country Association of South Florida, traveling to various dances and functions.
