William A. Larrick Jr.

Dr. William A. (Bill) Larrick, Jr., D.O. passed away peacefully on June 17th, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jane (nee Anderson), and his sons, Wm. David (Debra) and Scott (Polly), grandchildren William, Allison, Sean and Kaitlyn and his sister Juene (Robert) Tingle. He was predeceased by his parents, William A. Sr., and Margaret and his sister Darryl. Bill graduated from Muskingum College and the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served as the President of the Cleveland Academy of Osteopathic Medicine, was named a Clinical Associate Professor of the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and was Board Certified by the American College of Osteopathic Medicine in Family Medicine. Dr. Larrick was recently recognized as a Founder of the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He practiced medicine for 40 years in Chesterland, Ohio where he loved being the "family doctor". Locally, he was a founding member of the Wolverine Gridiron Club and a past member of the West Geauga Kiwanis and the West Geauga Boosters. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, at the Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, (Rt. 306, north of Mayfield Rd.) Chesterland, Ohio 44026. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Presbyterian Church, 12419 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations to be made to the American Osteopathic College of Family Practice (AOCFP) Education and Research Foundation, 330 E. Algonquin Rd., Suite 1, Arlington Heights, Il 60005 in his name.
