Well Bill (Billy-Bob) the tears have cleared and my heart is a bit lighter (for awhile) but I can finally say good-bye, the years you, Anne, Martha and I endured at O'Connor Street were so special, funny and sometimes outright outlandish but what a ride. To Bev-Anne, Jennifer and Nicholas, "the greatest man that every put a pair of boots/shoes on" he will always be loved. honored and cherised, God will be with him and you.

Bev-Anne & family. I am so sad to hear of Bill's sudden passing. I spent a lot of time with Bill & Bev-Anne back in the 70's and early 80's and we kind of drifted apart but I thought of you both so often. Bill was so kind and caring and made me smile always. I will always remember Bill. I will never forget.

To the Lenardon Family,
I was very saddened to hear of Bill's passing. I'm certain your hearts are aching; the loss of such a wonderful man is so profound. My thoughts are with your family.
I looked forward to my interactions with Bill, he always brightened my day. He was such a kind and generous man; so thoughful and caring. He always offered such sage advice in his "gentle Bill" way. Sharing his wisdom and knowledge came naturally to him; such a giving and compassionate man. He was truly a gentleman. I told him many times he was the best "boss" I ever had the pleasure of working with. Spending time with Bill always left me feeling enriched somehow; a better person just for having been in his company. He had such a positive yet realistic approach and attitude. You couldn't help but smile while in his presence.
Bill, you will be missed so much. You are a man I truly respected and admired. As I have said many times to you....thank you for being you.
My sincerest condolences to all his family, friends and loved ones.

As a sales representative at Remax ,O'Connor Street office I had the privilege of being coached and led by Bill,a kind and gentle man.
Bill was a wise man whose counsel was delivered with a calm and caring tone of voice,a smiling face and sometimes even a quiet sense of humor.
One of my collegues recently said "it was as if Dad was running our office"-we could talk with Bill about anything.
I will always remember Bill-a man impossible to forget.
My deepest sympathy to all of Bill's family and dear friends.
Sincerely
Lynn Wall

I am sending my deepest heartfelt condolences to my family; for they have lost a best friend, companion, father, brother, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle, friend and so much more. Our loved one, may have lost his battle to cancer, but he lived each day to the fullest ... with courage, a sense of humour, dignity and grace - Something to be very much admired. I will always remember my Uncle Bill's big smile & his great sense of humour. Keeping you (my family) in my heart, thoughts and prayers. May your memories bring smiles in place of tears and bring you some peace at this difficult time.

Bill was our neighbour and friend and in the years that we have lived next to him we have known him to be a kind and lovely man. Our children have expressed how much they will miss not being able to stop and talk to Bill about their day (because he always made a point of stopping to chat with them)or have him to joke around with them. We will all sincerely miss Bill. Our hearts and prayers go out to the whole family.
