Linda and Paul, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I was a friend of Mike's when I lived in Alabama in the late 1970's and stayed in contact for a few years after leaving Al. Let God's peace surround and comfort you knowing that one day you will be together.

Mike was my Pi Kappa Phi little brother at the University of Montevallo. He was one of my best friends at college. We spent many a day playing Rook. We had just reconnected via facebook. I will always cherish the time I got to spend with Mike and remember what a good and gracious person he was. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Linda, Mike always gave so much love and comfort to all his friends, he will be missed until we meet again. He helped my brother so much while he was here and touched many more lives through his own. I look forward to seeing him again one day. James A Coiro

I was so saddened to hear of the Lopez Family's loss. Mike and I met at Woodlawn HS and kept in touch over the years. His kind spirit will remain in the hearts of those he met on his life's journey. You will all be in the thoughts and prayers of many during this difficult time.

I'm so sorry for your loss Linda and family. I knew Mike all the way back in elementary school at North Roebuck. I lived on Orange Circle and he lived up the hill behind our house. We also were both 1969 grads of Woodlawn. You are all in my prayers.
