I worked with Bill at Emmer Development back in 1981. He was such a wonderful, kind man, and I have thought of him many, many times over the years. He used to tell me about his son who was in Hollywood, working to be an actor. As proud of his son as he was then, I know he must have been ecstatic later on. I'll miss Bill very much. He was one of a kind.

My heart goes out to the Macy family in their loss of this loved one. I knew him when I lived and worked in Gainesville, to me he was an inspiration of a person who cared about others. All of you will be in my prayers.
