William Francis Moriarty Jr

William Francis Moriarty Jr., age 65, passed away Wednesday May 22, 2024. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT on January 26, 1959, to William Moriarty Sr. And Dorothy(Lincoln) Moriarty. Bill was a proud navy veteran. He was also a skilled carpenter and craftsman. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He always lived life to the fullest and enjoyed simple pleasures like being outside in his backyard sipping a cup of coffee and skiing with his girls in the winter. He was an avid reader and enjoyed a good book. Bill will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and larger than life personality and charisma. He had an incredible way of connecting with people on a deep level and making them feel special. To know him was to love him. He will be missed greatly. He is survived by his wife Jeannine Moriarty, daughters Kelly, Kasey, Lily, Sarah, and granddaughter Selena. His mother Dorothy Moriarty, and sister Kathleen (Moriarty) Nelson and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded by his father William Moriarty Sr., his brother Brian Moriarty, and son Daniel Moriarty. A church service will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Stanislaus church (82 Akron street, Meriden, CT).
