Tom was an awesome Man of God
a friend of 58 years!! He ALWAYS treated me with the utmost respect. He cracked jokes all the time and would not let me talk silly because I wasn't that kind of girl, he would say. When I was 38 he heard an order from GOD "at the time he just said something told him to come to Gary and take his pistol. He never carried it unless he was on duty. I had been attacked on my job and that person was outside waiting to follow me home. He walked in and saw the condition I was in, terrified. He asked what had happened; he appeared out of nowhere to my shock. He said alright let's go I'm taking you home now. Fearless he was, even though he knew the guy was out there. What a FRIEND, AN ANGEL in the flesh!!! A Guardian ANGEL now back home with his Father GOD!!!!

I knew Uncle Tom by way of his niece Marla (my college friend). It was an honor to know Uncle Tom. He was a great conversationalist, had a nice singing voice, a hardy laugh and pure love for his family. You will surely be missed. Well done and rest up Uncle Tom.

I worked with Willie T as I called him at EPD for many years. He was a great guy, always smiling, and always could be counted on. We were both veterans with lots of stories. He served his country at home and at war. He is what a true American hero. I and many others will miss that smile and wit. God bless you and your family my friend. RIP. Jack Howard.

On behalf of the Froebel Class of 1968 we offer our deepest sympathy to the family of our beloved classmate. Once again our chain has been broken by death not the love we have for our Classmates. We pray in the days ahead God grants you peace. He will now receive Eternal life. Humbly submitted by Douglas Havens Class President and fellow classmate.
